 The Back on Track® Mia Rime Rug is effective indoors and outdoors, depending on the time of year (perfect for Autumn as well as milder Winter days). It’s Polyester coated exterior offers some moisture resistance against light precipitation, but may be regarded more as a Stable Blanket (also useful as an under rug in the field or as a transport rug on cold days), rather than a general turnout rug.

The Mia Rime Rug is a solid, practical, 167gms. Coat with a breathable, polyester outer layer (offering some water resistance) lined with the revolutionary Welltex™ ceramic infused fabric. to provide soothing, pain relieving FAR infrared therapy to help alleviate problems with stiffness and injuries to muscles & soft tissues, etc. in the chest, back, quarters and loins areas.

Back on Track® superior quality products are also designed to stimulate heat within the nerves, which slows down their ability to simultaneously transmit pain and can be used for both prevention and injury recovery. This rug is seamless along the spine, has back straps, a double front closure, belly surcingles and tail strap. It’s unique cut gives an ideal, non-rubbing, close-body fit, which, also, helps to ensure that it stays in place. General size guidelines: Back on Track® Equine Blankets are, generally, “true to size” and are categorised in the EU metric sizes (which is determined by measuring the length of your horse’s back from the withers to the base of the tail). Although it is not a direct mathematical conversion, for example, 105cm would be itemised as the approx. equivalent 5’ 0” (UK ‘skirt’ width - chest to rump), 115cm (5’6” – 5’9”), 125cm (5' 9" - 6' 0"), 135cm 6' 0" - 6' 3"), 140cm (6' 3" - 6'6"), 145cm, (6'6" - 6' 9") 155cm (6' 9" - 7' 0") and 165cm (7' 0" - 7' 3")
