Back on Track® Equine Liner Rug, Rhyolite

By using a separate inner lining, you can easily adapt your horse's normal outdoor rugs for colder temperatures. Back on Track® Liner Rug, Rhyolite has a lightweight filling to provide additional warmth without putting extra pressure on the muscles, so provides a comfortable insulating effect without getting too hot or sweaty (because the material is breathable).

The entire liner has a smooth surface, so is, therefore, gentle against the fur. The Welltex® infused lining can increase blood circulation by reflecting body heat as infrared energy. It may have a relaxing effect and can reduce stiffness in muscles and joints. Increased blood flow can also help to relieve problems with inflammation or osteoarthritis. The Rhyolite liner is extra suitable before activities to assist the warm-up, and afterwards to help aid the recovery.

Rhyolite comes in either 100g. or 200g. fillings, has a hook-and-loop fastening at the back above the tail for easy and sturdy attachment to a Back on Track® Equine Turnout Rug, Obsidian or other, T-buckle at the front and tail strap at the back

General size guidelines: Back on Track® Equine Blankets are, generally, “true to size” and are categorised in the EU metric sizes (which is determined by measuring the length of your horse’s back from the withers to the base of the tail). Although it is not a direct mathematical conversion, for example, 105cm would be itemised as the approx. equivalent 5’ 0” (UK ‘skirt’ width - chest to rump), 115cm (5’6” – 5’9”), 125cm (5' 9" - 6' 0"), 135cm 6' 0" - 6' 3"), 140cm (6' 3" - 6'6"), 145cm, (6'6" - 6' 9") 155cm (6' 9" - 7' 0") and 165cm (7' 0" - 7' 3")
